This Cookie Policy explains how TotalTrade uses cookies and similar technologies on totaltrade.ai, app.totaltrade.ai and related subdomains. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We may also use pixels, tags, scripts, SDKs, local storage, session storage and similar identifiers to enable functions, remember preferences, measure performance and, only with the required consent, understand or optimise marketing activity.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to the TotalTrade website, application and related subdomains or interfaces that display or link to it. Third-party websites and services remain governed by their own policies.

3. Strictly necessary technologies

These technologies are required to provide requested functions, maintain security, authenticate sessions, balance traffic, remember consent choices, prevent fraud and operate checkout. They do not require consent where the law recognises them as technically necessary, although they remain subject to transparency and data-protection rules.

4. Functionality technologies

Functionality technologies remember optional choices and improve convenience, such as language, interface preferences or enabled content. Where they are not strictly necessary, they are used only under the applicable consent or other valid legal basis.

5. Analytics technologies

Analytics tools help us understand aggregate visits, page performance, navigation and interaction with features. Google Analytics 4 and equivalent non-essential analytics are loaded only after you select the Analytics category. Withholding consent does not prevent use of the essential Service.

6. Marketing technologies

Marketing technologies may measure campaigns, attribute conversions and assess the effectiveness of promotional communications. Their use is limited to the tools expressly listed in this Policy. Google Ads is loaded only after you select the Marketing category. Marketing consent is optional and may be withdrawn at any time.

7. Consent-first script loading

Where consent is required, the relevant non-essential scripts are not loaded before your choice. Accepting all categories activates permitted analytics and marketing tools; rejecting them leaves only necessary technologies active. A basic preventive blocking mechanism is used, together with the consent preferences stored on your device.

8. Providers that may set or receive identifiers

• Cloudflare, Vercel and related hosting, security and content-delivery infrastructure.
• TotalTrade localStorage: tt_cookie_consent_v1 (consent choices, up to 180 days), tt_livechat_widget_v1 (created after opening or using chat, up to 60 days from the last update), and totaltrade.community-access.v1 (requested Community access, 90 days).
• Functionality localStorage: totaltrade-blog-reading-theme (until changed or deleted) and feedbackhub_voted_ids (duplicate-vote control until deleted).
• Clerk and Google OAuth for authentication and session security.
• Stripe for checkout, subscription management, fraud prevention and payment security.
• Google Analytics 4 for analytics after consent.
• Google Ads for advertising attribution and configured conversion measurement after marketing consent.
• YouTube for embedded videos after the Marketing consent required by the current implementation.

9. Analytics, marketing and affiliate attribution

Only after Analytics consent may Google Analytics 4 use _ga and _ga_<identifier> and receive page or funnel events. Only after Marketing consent may Google Ads use _gcl_* for campaign attribution and conversion measurement. The external Referly portal applies its own cookie policy. Cross-domain click or link attribution is not active on the TotalTrade website; Affiliate Programme attribution is based on the code or coupon captured at checkout, in accordance with the applicable Terms.

10. Managing your choices

The consent banner allows you to accept all, reject all non-essential categories or make granular choices. You can reopen the cookie settings from the website footer at any time. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent and applies to future processing.

11. Browser and device controls

You can also block or delete cookies and local-storage data through your browser or device settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent login, checkout, consent storage or other essential functions from working correctly.

12. Duration

Session technologies expire when the session or browser closes. The consent choice stored on this device remains valid for no more than 180 days and is requested again when it expires or when the consent configuration changes. Other persistent technologies remain only for the period required by their purpose and provider configuration.

13. Legal framework and international transfers

Processing involving cookies and similar technologies follows the GDPR, the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018) and applicable ePrivacy and tracking rules. Where providers process data outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards described in the Privacy Policy apply.
